Wide Open Newspapers × Devon Again

Limited-edition newspaper prints for the Unraveled tour run 2026–27 · 41 arena nights supporting Olivia Rodrigo · one edition per night · never reprinted · never discounted
01 — The idea, simply

Two types of products

Forty-one nights in front of arena crowds, including ten nights in one building in LA and eleven in Brooklyn — residencies where a dated, per-night edition becomes a collect-them-all set. One note on sizing: our house rule for support slots is 10% of the room = copies printed, but that rule was written for clubs; at 19,000-cap arenas we've defaulted the lever to 1% of capacity (~180 copies a night). It's one drag to move it anywhere.

Product A — Open edition

One design for the whole run, sold at every stop and online, closed forever when the tour ends. Simpler, batch-printed to demand — no per-city collectible story, so it earns a lower price point.

Product B — Limited edition, per night

A unique newspaper for each night — the city, the date, the setlist, the writing. Run sized to the night; when it sells out, that edition is gone forever. Scarcity is real and dated, so it carries a higher price point than a poster.

They combine well: per-night editions at the shows, the open edition online only — the collector object and the accessible one, without either undercutting the other.

02 — Why Wide Open

We handle everything end to end

End-to-end. Event production with H&M and Highsnobiety. Production for Nike. TikTok marketing for Noah Kahan. Creative direction with over 20 artists across genres. We stock our own newspapers through our own global distribution — Magculture, Yvon Lambert, Skylight, Quimby's.

Design, print, logistics, promo, distribution — one team, one pipeline. Full-size newsprint where every spread opens into a wall poster, with real writing on the backs. Your team approves at concept, layout, and final. We run the rest.

03 — The two financial structures

Revenue splits

Pick the structure first — the products below work under either.

Structure 1 — We finance it

Wide Open pays for everything — design, print, shipping. Costs recoup off the top, then the net splits 60/40 in the artist's favor. You write no checks and carry zero risk.

Structure 2 — You finance it

You cover production at cost plus our design & production fee, and keep everything else. More money, small upfront — the right call if you're confident in the run.

Fee$350 flat per edition designed, plus production from ~$3–4/unit at small runs (the calculators price the exact run)

These are base prices — scope-specific and negotiable as a bundle.

04 — Product A · Budget playground

Open tour edition

One design, the whole run, closed forever at the end. Batch-printed to demand.

Print cost: dynamic, volume-priced — currently . Split fixed at 60/40 in the artist's favor (Structure 1). Design & production (Structure 2 only): $5,000 flat for the tour edition.

05 — Product B · Budget playground

Limited edition per night

Every number is a lever — drag them and the budget recalculates across all 41 nights.

Per night, at your settings

Capacities are each arena's published concert figure (venue-official where sources conflict) — ceilings, not sellable counts on a given production. True them against ticketed capacity and every row recalculates. Support-slot sizing and the merch-table channel are exactly what we'd align with tour production on the call. Devon's own headline dates (MOTH Club, London, Aug 20) sit inside the print window and aren't modelled.

Production & next steps

EditorialImagery from your archive under one-time license, commissioned photography, or your creative team. Essays, the city's story with you, the diary of a first arena tour. Approval at concept, layout, and final — every page.
The templateOne architecture, an edition per night: masthead, date, city, that show. Designing at tour pace is our production system, not an experiment. Residencies make it stronger — ten LA editions, eleven Brooklyn editions, a numbered set.
Logistics6–10 weeks concept-to-first-edition; print 5–7 working days per batch, shipped with the merch. US & Canada dates carry customs, which we handle. Sold through your existing tables and POS — no staffing burden.
Next1 · Pick product and structure. 2 · True capacities and the support-slot channel with tour production — everything recalculates. 3 · Archive access + concept session. 4 · Design, approve, print, ship.
Turnaround

Printing and shipping take a week. The only real time variable is design.
